IDEA
The Royal Ball-themed wedding at JW Marriott Grosvenor House London combined elegance, spectacle and expert production. Delivered for Marble Private, the brief was to create a visually striking environment that captured the grandeur of the theme while keeping the party lively for guests into the early hours.
Our vision transformed the Great Room into a Royal Ball fit for a modern celebration. At the heart of the concept was a large, adaptable stage framed with bespoke arches framing the integrated LED screens. The stage was designed to support multiple entertainment acts, with content and visuals transitioning smoothly from slow subtle designs during dinner to dynamic displays as the party progressed.
This project showcased our full creative and technical capabilities, including bespoke scenic design, high-level production planning, and end-to-end delivery, all executed within just six weeks from signoff.
REALITY
We brought the vision to life with high-level scenic and technical production. The stage featured three LED screens framed by custom-built arches, supporting flexible content transitions and multiple performance setups. Slow, bespoke visuals welcomed guests before transforming into a dynamic, interactive backdrop, creating a fully immersive experience. The stage was specifically designed to change its look and feel for different entertainment acts, allowing the visuals and atmosphere to adapt seamlessly throughout the evening.
Custom bars and foodie stations extended the Royal Ball theme throughout the room, with client-supplied wallpaper applied to both fronts and backs for a consistent, personalised aesthetic. Careful coordination across lighting, audio, staging and scenic elements ensured all technical components worked together effectively.
All delivery, set-up and removal were completed on a tight schedule: one day for set-up, one day live, and immediate removal afterwards. Despite logistical constraints, including moving large quantities of technical equipment and scenic elements via a single lift and parking bay, collaboration with the venue and other suppliers ensured the event ran smoothly, highlighting our operational expertise.
CHALLENGE
The primary challenge was delivering a high-level scenic production under an extremely tight six-week timeline. Rapid design, fabrication and installation of the stage, bespoke arches, LED integration, and custom bars and foodie stations demanded precise technical planning.
The Great Room’s space constraints and the heavy technical load required careful logistics, quick decision-making, and continuous collaboration across multiple teams. This project highlighted our ability to manage complex technical and creative challenges simultaneously, while delivering a visually stunning and fully operational event.
OUTCOME
The Royal Ball wedding was a visually stunning and immersive experience that delighted guests from the elegant dinner to the lively party. Bespoke scenic elements, adaptable stage design and custom bars created a cohesive and memorable environment that reflected both the couple’s style and the client’s vision.
Guests experienced a carefully designed progression from subtle, elegant visuals on arrival to vibrant, interactive displays as the evening unfolded, making the celebration feel dynamic and engaging. The client praised our technical expertise, creative execution and operational flexibility. Every detail, from the LED stage and bespoke arches to the personalised bars and foodie stations, demonstrated our capability to deliver complex, high-level events on tight timelines, making this project a standout showcase of our full production capabilities.
