1. Could you introduce yourself, and share how long you’ve been at Encore? What drew you to this team specifically? 

I’m Shaikha Alhosani, a Marketing Coordinator at Encore. I’ve been with the team for 11 months, and it has been a very rewarding experience so far. What attracted me to Encore is its strong reputation for creativity and excellence, along with its clear spirit of teamwork. I felt a great positive energy and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional experiences. 

2. Walk us through a typical day in your role. What part of it brings you the most satisfaction? 

My day is dynamic and full of variety. I work on coordinating marketing campaigns, collaborating with different teams, and ensuring everything aligns with the brand identity. What brings me the most satisfaction is seeing ideas come to life as successful events and knowing that I contributed to creating a memorable experience. I also truly enjoy capturing behind-the-scenes moments and working on creative initiatives, which gives me a real sense of fulfillment. 

3. What inspired you to work in event production? 

I’ve always been passionate about creativity and turning ideas into reality. This field combines creative thinking with organization, which I truly enjoy. Being part of creating experiences that stay with people is what inspires me every day. 

4. Going back to when you first started, what surprised you most about this industry? 

I was pleasantly surprised by the level of collaboration and support among teams. Every successful event is backed by a strong collective effort, and that sense of teamwork was truly inspiring to me. 

5. What’s the most challenging part of your role? 

The fast-paced nature of the work can sometimes be challenging, but it’s also what makes it exciting. It constantly pushes me to stay organized, think creatively, and continue growing. 

6. What are you most proud of in your career, and what milestones are you looking toward achieving next?

I’m proud of my professional growth and the confidence I’ve built over time, especially through contributing to successful campaigns. Moving forward, I look forward to taking on larger projects, expanding my strategic role, and continuing to grow within the industry. 

7. What advice would you give to someone who wants to get into event production?

Stay open to learning and enjoy every experience. This industry is full of opportunities, and if you’re passionate and dedicated, you will find it both successful and fulfilling. 

8. How did you build your confidence? 

I built my confidence gradually through experience and continuous learning. With each project, I gained more knowledge and became more aware of my strengths. Facing challenges with a positive mindset also played a big role in building my confidence. In addition, the support from my team and colleagues helped strengthen my ability to make decisions and lead.

9. What is one challenge you’ve faced in your career, and how did you overcome it? What helped you the most?

One challenge I faced was taking on greater responsibilities early on, but I saw it as an opportunity to grow. By staying positive, proactive, and committed to learning, I was able to overcome it successfully. The support from my team played a major role in helping me through it. 

10. What advice would you give to women considering a career in the events industry? 

I would encourage them to embrace every opportunity with confidence and a willingness to grow. This industry values creativity, resilience, and strong collaboration, so don’t be afraid to step forward, share your ideas, and take initiative. With dedication and passion, there are no limits to what you can achieve.
