OBJECTIVE
The Ruwad Awards brought together leaders from the leisure, tourism and entertainment sectors at W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island to celebrate excellence in guest experience. Encore was appointed to provide full event production for the outdoor awards ceremony and gala dinner, delivering an integrated technical and scenic solution. The objective was to create a premium event environment that reflected the stature of the awards programme while supporting live entertainment, award presentations and a carefully managed guest journey throughout the evening.
SOLUTION
Working closely with the client, Encore delivered an end-to-end solution combining staging, scenic design, lighting, audio, video, entertainment integration and show operations to support the outdoor awards ceremony and gala dinner.
As the second consecutive year supporting the Ruwad Awards, Encore built on the success of the previous event while adapting the delivery to suit an outdoor setting at W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island. Throughout the evening, the production team managed all technical and operational requirements, coordinating award presentations, live entertainment, performers and other programme elements to ensure the event ran according to plan.
Throughout the planning process, the team worked closely with the client to adapt to onsite requirements while maintaining the overall event vision. With multiple moving parts requiring careful management, Encore oversaw every aspect of event delivery, providing a fully integrated production solution that enabled the client to focus on hosting guests and celebrating industry achievements.
