OBJECTIVE
The Summit, Forbes Travel Guide’s flagship luxury and travel conference, brings together general managers from the world’s most prestigious hotels, luxury brand executives and thought leaders for a three-day event in Monte Carlo. Returning for its second year, the 2026 event at the Grimaldi Forum Salle des Princes auditorium combined thought leadership, live performances, and sophisticated production to celebrate excellence in hospitality.
The event featured a bold stage design, delivering clear visibility, engaging presentations, and high-impact performances, all reflecting the prestige of the Forbes Travel Guide brand. We were appointed to manage the event’s end-to-end production, collaborating closely with Forbes Travel Guide to realise the vision.
SOLUTION
Encore provided a fully integrated production solution, covering stage and scenic design, audio, lighting, video, and LED systems. For the two symposiums, the centrepiece stage included a 6-metre run of internally lit letters and a bespoke round gold carpet featuring the iconic Forbes Travel Guide stars logo with a cut-out and gold-glittered backdrop. A flown LED screen ensured every attendee had a clear view, while Snapsight AI delivered real-time textual session summaries. Lighting, scenic, and video elements were carefully coordinated to support keynote presentations and panel discussions.
The gala at Salle des Étoiles in the Monte-Carlo Sporting club demonstrated our ability to transform a venue seamlessly. The production included two LED proscenium arches, an upstage LED screen, and four movable LED columns, initially positioned along the guest walkway and later relocated beside the orchestra stage. The evening, hosted by actor and entertainer Erich Bergen, featured performances from Tony and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth (the original Glinda from Wicked), The Prince of Monaco’s Carabiner Orchestra, and a second 22-piece orchestra, with custom LED content supporting each segment.
Our technical delivery ensured that every element, from guest arrival under the starry sky to the main show, ran smoothly and created a cohesive, memorable experience.
RESULT
The Summit 2026 combined luxury hospitality insight with sophisticated live production, creating an engaging and unforgettable event. The stage design, dynamic LED visuals, and seamless technical execution reinforced the prestige of Forbes Travel Guide and the calibre of the world’s top hotel and luxury brand leaders in attendance.
The conference and gala were praised for their creativity, elegance, and technical excellence, establishing The Summit 2026 as a benchmark for luxury travel events.
