As 2025 draws to a close, it is the perfect moment to reflect on a year filled with unforgettable experiences, inspiring moments, and remarkable events. At Encore, we have been at the heart of it all, curating, coordinating, and celebrating events that brought communities together and created lasting memories. From January to December, this year was packed with milestones, surprises, and standout moments that captured the spirit of connection and creativity.
Looking back on 2025: Encore’s year in review
January
January began with Titanique the Musical setting sail in the West End at the Criterion Theatre. We provided the lighting equipment for Paige Seber, whose bright and bold design brought the production to life. We congratulate the cast, creatives, and crew on their successful London debut.
We also supported the Anne Frank Trust at their Annual Lunch at the London Hilton Park Lane. 600 guests attended, including Her Majesty Queen Camilla, to mark Holocaust Memorial Day and the 80th anniversary of Anne Frank’s passing. The event featured a candle-lighting ceremony, presentations from young ambassadors, and a keynote speech by Stephen Fry, helping to raise vital funds for the Trust.
February
In February, we supported the TPi Awards at our partner venue, Evolution London. Known as the biggest night in live production, the event brought together the best in the industry. Our team provided expert support across rigging, drapes, power, staging, and lighting, with design by ROBE Lighting. Tom Ring, our Project Director, stepped in as Technical Director and worked with GoTo Live to coordinate the leading suppliers, ensuring the night was a resounding success.
March
March saw Encore earn an EcoVadis Gold Certification, placing us in the top 5% of companies for sustainability and corporate social responsibility. EcoVadis assesses companies on environmental standards, labour and human rights policies, ethics, and sustainable procurement. This Gold Certification reflects our long-standing commitment to making a positive impact.
The same month, we executed the launch of the BYD Sealion 7 for TRO Experience. Over three exciting days at Stadium MK, the launch featured LED entrance tunnels, off-site test drives, networking opportunities, and exclusive dinners. We powered the event with top-tier AV, including 150m² of LED, 124 intelligent lights, immersive sound, staging, and cutting-edge cameras.
April
April saw us celebrate three incredible years of powering the Dubai Lynx Awards, one of MENA’s most prestigious creative events, held at the iconic Emirates Golf Club. We delivered our full suite of services, including rigging, lighting, video, audio, scenic, and power. With a standout design by our Creative Services team and flawless on-site execution, we helped transform the event from concept into reality.
April also marked an exciting new chapter as we expanded into Spain. With a new base in the sunny climes of Barcelona, we established a presence across the country, opening up fresh opportunities for growth and collaboration.
May
In May, we exhibited at IMEX Frankfurt, a three-day event where we connected, engaged, and shared insights on all things innovation. Our stand featured cutting-edge tech, including Absen LED panels and translucent Muxwave Lucy screens, adding a futuristic edge to the privacy walls and creating an immersive experience for visitors.
The same month, we provided rigging and draping infrastructure at Paris La Défense Arena for Forever Living Products, setting the stage for their impressive Global Rally. Our contribution included over 200 hoists with active load monitoring, complete truss and control systems, and 800 linear metres of elegant drape. It was a precision-engineered setup for two days of excellence.
June
In June, we added an exciting new fixture to our arsenal: the Martin Professional MAC One. This versatile unit combines Beam, Wash, and Eye-Candy lighting in a single powerful package, delivering compact, high-intensity performance. The MAC One features a narrow beam for punchy aerial effects, a Fresnel lens delivering smooth washes with 4°–27° zoom, and an RGB backlight for unforgettable visual impact.
July
In July, we delivered full technical production for Adobe Summit London, supporting Taylor Bennett Partners and working closely with lead designer Russell Bennett and onsite project manager Rhea Andrews. The event brought their vision to life for over 1,500 digital creatives and marketers at Adobe UK.
Our contributions included main stage technology with a show-stopping Absen LED screen and custom lectern, staging and draping, five breakout rooms equipped with silent headsets, tech screens for speaker corners, activations and exhibitions, and venue-wide support complementing the in-house equipment supplied by Magazine London.
We collaborated with a wide range of experts to make the event a success, including James Steel (Producer for Adobe), Eyeful Presentations (UK presentation graphics), Gina Casagrande & Katy Phanides (Adobe product demos), Jamie Brighton (Adobe demo host), Original_joe and the Adobe US content team, including Scott Benson & Michael Powell (original onscreen visuals), Displayways Ltd (print & graphics) and i4 Exhibitions (exhibition stand build). A big thank you also goes to the in-house team, Vibration Production for rigging and power and Noba Event WiFi for networking and internet, for helping bring this ambitious event to life.
August
In August, we were proud to be certified as a Great Place to Work® across the UK, UAE, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. This recognition reflects the incredible people who make up the Encore team, bringing excellence, care, and collaboration to everything they do. It was a month to celebrate our culture and the team that makes it all possible.
September
In September, we provided the lighting for Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical at Evolution London in collaboration with Secret Cinema, creating everything from subtle moods to full-on spotlight moments. The results were nothing short of electrifying, thanks to Howard Hudson, the Lighting Designer, Jacob Edmonds, and the talented Production Electrics team.
The same month, we delivered full technical event production support for Lamborghini Day UK 2025 at Millbrook Proving Ground for Deeper Blue. This exclusive one-day event for guests, press, and influencers showcased special editions, current and original cars, and included the European premiere of the ‘few-off’ Lamborghini Fenomeno, of which only 29 exist.
October
In October, our commitment to service excellence was recognised with a Silver Stevie® Award for Achievement in Customer Satisfaction at the 22nd Annual International Business Awards®. This award reflected our global Service Excellence strategy and the dedication, passion, and professionalism of our teams worldwide.
The same month, we transformed InterContinental London – The O2 for Cvent Connect Europe 2025, creating a fully immersive hub for thought leadership, networking, and creativity with our signature cutting-edge production technology. Our Head of Creative Technical, Pete Harding, gave guests exclusive behind-the-scenes access through Backstage Pass tours, showcasing what goes into a technical production of this scale.
November
In November, Encore lit up the AV Awards 2025 at Evolution London, bringing our lighting expertise to create a memorable evening for the very best in the AV industry. We were proud to sponsor the Event/Experience Technology of the Year category and congratulate HIVE Media Players for their brilliant work on Beeblade Nexus.
December
In December, we got into the festive spirit at Birmingham Rep, supporting “Sherlock Holmes and the 12 Days of Christmas” with atmospheric lighting that helped bring sparkle and cheer to the stage. It was fantastic to work alongside Lighting Designer Anna Watson, Lighting Programmer Claire Gerrens, and production electricians Alex Bosworth and Joe Ralph. Their creativity and expertise truly made the show shine, and it was a joy to illuminate this wonderful production.
From all of us here at Encore EMEA, thank you for being part of our 2025 journey.
