IDEA
Marble Private asked us to create a refined American Bar-themed wedding at The Chancery Rosewood. The brief called for a sophisticated and immersive atmosphere where every detail, from lighting and scenic design to bars and food stations, enhanced the guest experience while complementing the ballroom’s architecture.
The central feature was a curved stage finished in rose gold, designed to host five unique performances. Each act had distinct technical requirements, so the stage needed to be flexible while maintaining a consistent aesthetic. This project demonstrated our ability to combine creative vision with practical production solutions.
To extend the theme throughout the room, we designed custom bars, food stations, and tailored scenic elements. Every piece was curated to create a harmonious and visually striking environment, reflecting our expertise in scenic design, spatial planning, and event storytelling.
REALITY
We brought the concept to life through full scenic and technical production. The rose gold curved stage accommodated all five performances, with changeovers carefully orchestrated so the evening progressed smoothly. This required precise coordination across lighting, audio, staging, and content teams, highlighting our operational capabilities.
Custom bars and food stations were designed to complement the American Bar theme without overpowering the room. High-quality finishes and subtle detailing created a refined environment, while lighting and sound guided the atmosphere so that each performance and moment unfolded naturally, allowing emotion to take centre stage.
All installation, live execution, and removal were completed in just three days. Working in a brand-new venue presented challenges, as we had no prior technical knowledge of the ballroom. Despite the high volume of equipment and scenic elements, our operational expertise ensured everything was delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.
CHALLENGE
A new venue always introduces unknowns. Designing a single stage capable of supporting five different performances added further complexity. Each act required different technical setups, yet the stage needed to maintain a consistent visual identity. Rapid changeovers demanded meticulous planning and collaboration across all teams involved.
The six-week timeline increased the pressure, requiring accelerated design development, bespoke fabrication, and careful technical planning. Every element, from lighting and scenic design to content creation, had to align perfectly to deliver the high-level production expected by Marble Private.
OUTCOME
The American Bar-themed wedding delivered an elegant and immersive experience. Guests moved effortlessly from the subtle sophistication of the reception to the dynamic performances on the rose gold stage. Bespoke scenic elements, the adaptable stage, and custom bars and food stations created a cohesive and memorable environment that reflected both the couple’s style and the client’s vision.
Marble Private praised the technical execution, creative solutions, and attention to detail. Every element, from the stage to the bespoke bars and integrated lighting, showcased Encore’s ability to deliver complex, high-level events under tight timelines. Being one of the first events at The Chancery Rosewood, this project set a new standard for the venue and strengthened our ongoing partnership with Marble Private.
