Scott Nodsle

Managing Director, International Operations

Scott Nodsle is Managing Director, International Operations, with oversight of APAC and EMEA. He is responsible for supporting the Encore teams, partners and customers with a focus on driving the business forward, growing its customer base, and ensuring the company builds a global network of support to deliver world-class service. He has been with Encore since 2000, starting in a technical role supporting the U.S. and Caribbean, plus holding various roles across the world; Managing Director - APAC, Group Operations Director – EMEA, Divisional Vice President of Southern US, and Sales and Operations roles across the US. 

Scott values his team members above all else and enabling them to elevate their careers. He is proud to work with such a talented group of people across the business who work tirelessly with our partners to deliver outstanding experiences and events. Scott earned his Master of Business Administration and Management, and his Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, both from Texas A&M University. He currently resides in Sydney with his lovely wife and two amazing boys. 

Stefica Divkovic

Managing Director, EMEA

Stefica Divkovic was named Managing Director of Encore for the EMEA region in March 2024. She is responsible for the development and delivery of the company’s multi-year strategic plan for the EMEA region.   

Stefica brings a wealth of experience and expertise having spent the last two years with Everbridge Inc. as Senior Vice President of the EMEA region focusing on scaling the customer and partner relationships across the region. Prior to Everbridge, she led both DACH and EMEA business for Verizon, and also held senior leadership roles at large global organizations such as T-Systems. Stefica brings expertise in business growth, operations, and cultural transformation in highly competitive environments, as well as a relentless focus on the customer experience.  

Stefica sits on the board of the Digital Change Foundation and works with two NGOs that support refugees in Germany.

Des McEwan

Chief Financial Officer, EMEA

Des McEwan is Chief Financial Officer for the EMEA region, with the Finance, IT and Legal teams reporting to him. 

Des is a trusted partner to the broader leadership team for all aspects of the company’s business - providing strategic, analytical and business support. He plays a pivotal role in corporate development and leads the development of the group’s strategic plan each year.  

Prior to joining Encore in 2019, Des held Group Financial positions for seven years within ITE Group PLC, following an initial 10 years with Deloitte. 

Outside of work, Des is a keen spectator of all sports and a poor but enthusiastic golfer.  

Sacha Morazain

Group Director, Operations & Center of Excellence, EMEA

As Group Director of Operations & Centre of Excellence EMEA, Sacha plays a pivotal role in the functional leadership of venues, production and warehouses across EMEA, as well as overseeing cost control and the overall customer experience. With an impressive track record spanning over 22 years, Sacha is a seasoned professional in Event Marketing and Business Management, leaving a trail of success both regionally and globally. 

Sacha has been with Encore since 2012, where he oversaw the Madinat Jumeirah as their Director of Event Technology while leading their Financial Oversight and Sales Strategy regionally. Formerly, Sacha was Managing Director of Project X Productions, a full-service event production company that specialises in creatively and strategically aligning production brands and value to client needs. During his time with Project X, he oversaw and managed all business activities, projects and sales while having complete responsibility for financial oversight and reporting, developing Project X from a local start-up to a national leadership presence within the event management marketplace. 

Sean Philby

Senior Director, Strategic Sales & Growth, EMEA

With over 20 years’ experience in the Hospitality industry, Sean has held Senior Sales & Marketing roles with Malmaison, Hotel du Vin & Radisson Hotel Group. Sean joined Encore in July 2022 with a vision of developing a world class Sales team and working in collaboration with our clients and venues to deliver events that inspire. He is now Director of Sales Strategy & Growth, leading the EMEA team’s commercial efforts and utilising his extensive expertise to develop a winning sales strategy for the wider region.  

Amy Parkin

Group HR Director, EMEA

Amy Parkin joined Encore in 2021 and holds the position of Group HR Director, EMEA. 

Amy is responsible for structuring and leading HR Centres of Excellence (CoE) across the EMEA region and ensuring the highest standards of talent management and development within the EMEA team. Amy works closely with the EMEA Leadership Team to develop the organisational and people plans, ensuring alignment with Corporate and the International strategy, and spearheading both  our “Focus on You” and “a Great Place to Work For All” strategies. 

Prior to joining Encore, Amy held the role of Head of HR for a division of ABM Industries. She has over 20 years leadership experience within the events and aviation industry supporting Europe, Middle East and Asian regions, handling multiple acquisitions and organisational design projects across EMEA in that time period. 

Amy holds a post graduate diploma in HR Management and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD). Outside of work, Amy loves to travel and to spend time with her two daughters, whether it be exploring new countries and cultures or playing a board game. 

Martin Lubach

Regional Managing Director, Middle East

Martin has over 31 years of experience in the entertainment industry, initially working for TASCO from 1984, where he contributed to the design and development of the “Starlite” – the first European moving yoke lamp. After several years of touring worldwide as a programmer and designer, he joined Essential Lighting as Technical Director, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing their technical capabilities. This included developing Radio DMX systems, managing the WYSIWYG pre-programming suite, and implementing rigorous testing and preparation processes to ensure the company remained at the forefront of technological innovation. 

Martin is now the Regional Managing Director for the Middle East region at Encore, where he leverages his extensive expertise to drive excellence and innovation in the region's entertainment and event production landscape. 

Karen Robertson

Regional Managing Director, UK & Netherlands

Karen is the Managing Director for the UK & Netherlands at Encore. A highly skilled and adaptable leader, she has extensive experience in driving business growth, implementing strategic change, and overseeing high-performing teams.  

Starting her career as a Hire Coordinator in 2001 with AVC Live Ltd (acquired by Encore in 2015), Karen brings over 20 years of expertise across various divisions of the business, including Venue Partnerships, Event Production, Operations, and Sales & Marketing. 

Karen is an expert in managing complex operations, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across all areas of the business. With a proven track record of exceeding performance expectations, she combines strategic vision with operational excellence to deliver results on time and within budget. 

Karen is a true people person, with a passion for engaging with both her team members and customers alike.  

Christian Rafflenbeul

Regional Managing Director, DACH & Spain

Christian Rafflenbeul is Managing Director of Encore Germany, Austria, Switzerland and our latest regional addition, Spain.  

Christian has extensive experience, with more than 15 years in the industry. Prior to the MD role, Christian utilised his detailed insight into each discipline of the business to develop our EMEA venue relationship strategy, and focused on Encore’s customer-centric, service excellence processes. 

Before he joined Encore, Christian worked as a strategy consultant at Accenture, focusing on international outsourcing projects for global corporations of the travel sector.  

Jonathan Taillefer

Regional Managing Director, France & Monaco

With over 20 years of experience in the live events industry and a recipient of the Middle East Leadership Award with PSAV, Jonathan has successfully navigated roles ranging from Project Manager to Technical Director, and is currently the Regional Managing Director for Encore France and Monaco.  

Over the years, Jonathan has skilfully managed various operational aspects and has overseen numerous projects across venues and production. Since joining Encore in 2014, he has significantly contributed to the operations and business development of the company’s Middle East branch. 

Now based in Paris, Jonathan splits his time between his passions including music, photojournalism and animal welfare.
