Deutsches Eigenkapitalforum (German Equity Forum)
We worked alongside our client Deutsche Börse to realise the Deutsches Eigenkapitalforum (German Equity Forum) as a completely virtual conference in the midst of lockdown challenges. Over two thousand visitors were expected for the three-day conference, who were provided with the forum’s content in real time. In addition to an accompanying forum program and the conferences, companies and investors were directly connected.
Line of business: Stock Exchange
We Delivered: Technical Execution
During the virtual forum, around 300 internal and external speakers had to be brought to the participants’ screens in seven separate live streams from Deutsche Börse’s headquarters in Eschborn.
More than 230 breakout sessions and some plenary sessions were broadcast in real time from a virtual trade fair environment. In addition, around 4000 virtual one-on-one meetings between participants and advisors were facilitated across the three event days.
Through our combined digital and creative services, we were able to support Deutsche Börse from the planning and design right through to the implementation of the forum. With virtual exhibition stands, companies from the financial sector could present themselves and not only provide content in real time, but hold direct conversations with interested parties.
In addition, participants were able to relive individual sessions afterwards in the form of 110 on-demand videos which were often edited and made available after just one hour. The Deutsches Eigenkapitalforum was a great success as a virtual conference with Encore going on to support Deutsche Börse in the successful implementation of the forum in 2021.
